Meet Aquila.

The name of her breed is Spectra(). However, they are not all rainbow, like Aquila, due to interbreeding with normal equines.

She has the power to take the lives of others. Mainly she takes the lives of those who are nearly dead, who are in pain that cannot be healed, etc. The souls go into her body, losing their individual memories, thoughts and feelings, simply showing as stars in her mane and tail.
There have been a few times, however, when she has taken the life in order to protect herself or someone close to her. These souls merge and become furious and insane. This leads to the chance that she will be possessed by this one 'soul'. So far, she's been able to keep her soul and the other 'soul' separate, but there have been times when she's nearly lost herself.

Naturally, her kind live for a long time. They are immune to disease, starvation (they still eat for energy, but they cannot die of starvation.) etc. However, if they are targeted by another, then they can die.

She is friends with Corvus ([link] I found a use for him ). He's helped her in the past by hiding her in the mist he creates.
